As part of my University course, and in conjunction with Focal Radio, I put this together:

THE analogue TV signal will be turned off in Stoke-on-Trent in 2011, and across the whole uk by 2012.

StaffsLive took a look at how far we still have to go to be ready for the digital switchover.
Andy Burnham, the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport made a statement to the House of Commons last week on the Digital Britain interim report.

He believes that various digital media outlets need to work together if Britain is to successfully move away from analogue.

Focal Radio are a DAB station in Stoke-On-Trent and began broadcasting in November 2008.

Local radio personality Sam Plank is one of the main presenters. Sam has previously presented on Signal 1 and BBC Stoke.
