They’re all around us.
But how often do we listen to them?
Today, i will offer you three sounds from three different locations. And they are for no other reason that I want you to listen.
The first one is from Nant-Y-Coed nature reserve near Llanfairfechan.
I was there to do an interview, with the background noise. The interview was about nature, and for the radio – it made sense really. Have a listen.
I will post the interview soon. Once it is edited.
The second one is on a beach on a clear, hot summers day. It’s also close to the A55 expressway going through North Wales. It’s Penmaenmawr beach. And if you get away from the people, you can hear… this:
And finally – two dogs. A Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a Boxer Cross. Excitable, and just back from their walk.
So, lets listen to them:
It’s all in aid of the BBC SOS project. BBC SOS is aimed at getting you to listen. Just listen. To all the sounds that are around you. Take a look at what they have to say by clicking here.
And record some of your own – Look to my previous post on Audioboo to find out how you can rather simply.
Or grab a mic and headphones.
